Rasters for GRASS 7 (RG7) - Project Homepage
RG7 (Rasters for GRASS 7) is a modern a highly efficient implementation of a raster sub-system within Geographic Information Systems. RG7 is based on tiling approach and stores data in various sorts of technical storages, e.g. SQL databases, file formats or even WMS. RG7 is a library indented for processing of extremely large raster files. In the near future, RG7 is supposed to be integrated within the well known GIS system called GRASS.
RG7 is available under the BUT OPEN SOURCE LICENCE which is generally equivalent to GPL.
