Dynamism
- Dynamic DEVS allows for dynamic structural changes during runtime. Dynamic DEVS implemented in a dynamic language offers one additional level of dynamism - not only coupled DEVS definitions, but also atomic DEVS definitions can evolve (automatically or interactively) during runtime.
Reflectivity
- SmallDEVS framework openness and reflectivity allows for interactive modeling and simulation (exploratory modeling).
- SmallDEVS is suitable for reflective and selfmodifying systems studies via modeling and simulation.
- A possibility to save and restore state of a simulation or a part of it (migration of simulations or components) is also consequence of SmallDEVS reflective capabilities.
